Hair Weaving Course: 300-Hour Curriculum

The Hair Weaving Course is a focused 300-hour training program that teaches students the art of hair weaving, including braiding, sew-in extensions, fusion techniques, and non-surgical hair replacement methods. This course is ideal for individuals looking to specialize in hair extensions and advanced weaving techniques.



This program is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to ensure students receive the highest standard of education. Graduates will be prepared to take the state licensing exams required to practice hair weaving professionally in Texas.

Examinations

To obtain a hair weaving license in Texas, students must pass both a written and a practical exam.

Written Exam

Upon completing 270 of the 300 required hours, the school will notify TDLR of your eligibility to take the written exam. Once approved, PSI will send you an email with scheduling details.

Practical Exam

Once all 300 required hours are completed, you will be eligible to take the practical exam.
